The La Porte Slicers topped the visiting South Bend Clay Colonials basketball team by a final score of 43-31 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Slicers face the Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) in a Duneland game, on Friday, December 1. La Porte will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 56-50 league win over Merrillville (Merrillville, IN).
