Ohio High School Basketball - Mechanicsburg can't hold off Miami East

November 25, 2023: Casstown, OH 45312

The Miami East Vikings basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Mechanicsburg Indians to 38 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northridge for a Three Rivers contest on Saturday, December 2. Miami East will battle a Polar Bears team coming off a 64-38 non-league win over Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 2-0.

The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Triad (North Lewisburg, OH). The Cardinals enter the Ohio Heritage contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Triad nudged Shawnee (Springfield, OH), 46-31, in a non-league contest.
