Walnut Hills Eagles (Cincinnati, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls (Cincinnati, OH), 39-33 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Walnut Hills upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Winton Woods (Cincinnati, OH) to play the Warriors in a Eastern Cincinnati bout on Monday, November 27. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Winton Woods lost 69-58 in their recent non-league bout against Princeton (Cincinnati, OH)
Next up, the Fighting Owls play the Oak Hills Highlanders (Cincinnati, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 27. Mt. Healthy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Highlanders come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 33-25 non-league win over Mercy McAuley (Cincinnati, OH).
