High School Basketball - Taft tipped by JV Opponent

The JV Opponent basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Taft Eagles to 36 in the non-league triumph on Saturday.
The now sport a 9-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Bern Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, November 27. JV Opponent will meet a team coming off a 34-23 non-league win over Oakwood (Greenville, NC). The record now stands at 2-0.
The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Jones (Chicago, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Jones was nudged by DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL), 33-6, in a non-league contest.
