Georgia High School Basketball - Walnut Grove knocked off by Alcovy

The Alcovy Tigers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors to 42 in the Tigers league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newton for a contest on Saturday, December 2.

The Warriors (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Oconee (Bogart, GA). The Titans enter the contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, North Oconee ran past Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA), 54-35, in a non-league contest.
