Independence Home School Lions (Lawrence, KS) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Rams (Overland Park, KS), 51-43 in a league match.
With the victory, Independence Home School advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Whitefield Academy (Kansas City, MO) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Thursday, December 5. The Lions enter the match with a record of 2-0.
The Rams now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midland Adventist Academy for a Great Plains match on Tuesday, November 26. Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 44-33 league win over The Daniel Academy (Kansas City, MO). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
