The Socastee Braves basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Manning Monarchs to 17 in the Braves non-league triumph on Monday.
The Braves now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Waccamaw for a non-league game on Wednesday, November 27. Socastee will play a Warriors team coming off a 68-55 non-league loss to Mullins (Mullins, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Manning falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Andrews (Andrews, SC) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a record of 0-1. Andrews lost 76-16 in their recent non-league game against Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC)
