Mississippi High School Basketball - Wayne Academy overwhelms Raleigh

The Wayne Academy Jaguars basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Raleigh Lions to 40 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Monday.

The Jaguars now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sumrall for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26. Wayne Academy will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 63-35 non-league win over West Marion (Foxworth, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Raleigh falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Stringer (Stringer, MS) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league game on Monday, December 2. The Red Devils go into the game with a record of 2-3. Stringer lost 52-24 in their recent non-league game against Mize (Mize, MS)
