Mississippi High School Basketball - Bayou Academy thwarts New Site

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Bayou Academy Colts (Cleveland, MS) and the visiting New Site Royals (New Site, MS), observed Bayou Academy's basketball team knock off New Site by a score of 33-23.
The Colts (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Oxford (Oxford, MS). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Oxford prevailed over DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS), 48-32, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Royals encounter the Jackson Prep Patriots (Jackson, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 26. New Site will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 49-21 non-league win over Bayou Academy (Cleveland, MS).
