Louisiana High School Basketball - Ponchatoula can't hold off Fairview

Fairview Panthers (Grant, LA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA), 62-59 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Fairview advances its record to 11-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, LA) to face the Kittens in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 26. The Kittens enter the match with a record of 3-1. Southern Lab won 52-44 in their recent non-league match against Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA)

The Green Wave now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 26. Ponchatoula will face a Lions squad coming off a 50-46 non-league win over Zachary (Zachary, LA). The Lions record now stands at 3-0.
