In Monday's non-league contest, the host Providence Hall Patriots basketball team scored a big 66-31 triumph over the Salt Lake Academy Griffins.
The Patriots (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Emery (Castle Dale, UT). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Emery was trounced by Morgan (Morgan, UT), 74-29, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Griffins confront the Green River Pirates (Green River, UT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Salt Lake Academy will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
