In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Captain Shreve Gators basketball squad scored a tight 44-39 victory over the Anacoco Indians.
With the victory, Captain Shreve advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Gators host Bossier (Bossier City, LA) to face the Bearkats in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2. The Bearkats enter the match with a record of 1-2.
The Indians now have a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Little Cypress-Mauriceville for a non-league game on Saturday, November 29. Anacoco will confront a Bears team coming off a 74-51 non-league loss to Orangefield (Orangefield, TX). The Bears record now stands at 0-3.
