In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting West Point Warriors basketball team scored a good 61-49 triumph over the Cherokee County Warriors.
With the victory, West Point upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Warriors host Vinemont (Vinemont, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 5-2. Vinemont won 52-48 in their recent non-league contest against Hartselle (Hartselle, AL)
In their next game, the Warriors confront the Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL) in a 4A Area 12 contest, on Friday, December 5. Cherokee County will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record.
