Illinois High School Basketball - North Greene edged by Edinburg/South Fork

The Edinburg/South Fork Ponies basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting North Greene Spartans to 52 in the Ponies non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Ponies now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Lincolnwood for a MSM game on Thursday, December 4. Edinburg/South Fork will confront a Lancers team coming off a 38-30 non-league loss to Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 2-3.

The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Illinois School for the Deaf (Jacksonville, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Illinois School for the Deaf was nipped by Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL), 59-18, in a non-league outing.
