The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA) and the visiting Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA), observed Edmund Burke Academy's basketball team overwhelm Lincoln County by a score of 55-25.
The Spartans (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA). The Jaguars enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Thomas Jefferson Academy was crushed by Gatewood (Eatonton, GA), 59-19, in a non-league match.
The Red Devils now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens Academy for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 3. Lincoln County will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 64-33 non-league win over Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-0.
