California High School Basketball - Covina succumbs to South

The South Spartans topped the visiting Covina Colts basketball team by a final score of 70-50 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Salesian Mustangs (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, November 27. South will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 49-40 non-league loss to North (Torrance, CA).

With the defeat, Covina moves to 1-3 on the year. The Colts travel to North (Torrance, CA) to face the Saxons in a non-league game on Saturday, November 27. The Saxons enter the game with a record of 2-2. North won 49-40 in their recent non-league game against Salesian (Los Angeles, CA)
