Greene County Tigers (Eutaw, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Dallas County Hornets (Plantersville, AL), 58-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Greene County upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Central (Tuscaloosa, AL) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Monday, November 29. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Central lost 48-39 in their recent non-league bout against Brookwood (Brookwood, AL)

Next up, the Hornets play the Hatch Bobcats (Uniontown, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 3. Dallas County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
