The Lafayette Christian Academy Knights walloped the visiting Newman Greenies football team by a count of 49-7 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, Lafayette Christian Academy upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Knights travel to St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA) to encounter the Comets in a non-league outing on Saturday, December 4. The Comets go into the outing with a record of 10-0. St. Charles Catholic won 17-13 in their recent non-league outing against Notre Dame (Crowley, LA)
With the loss, Newman moves to 7-3 on the season.
