Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Windsor Jaguars (Windsor, CA), 51-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Alameda upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to James Logan (Union City, CA) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 30. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 0-1. James Logan lost 66-53 in their recent non-league bout against Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA)

Next up, the Jaguars play the American Canyon Wolves (American Canyon, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Windsor will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 64-46 non-league loss to Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA).
