The Kountze Lions basketball team (Kountze, TX), was overwhelmed 69-43 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Alief Elsik Rams (Houston, TX)

The Rams now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fulshear for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 29. Alief Elsik will confront a Chargers team coming off a 75-59 non-league loss to Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 5-4.

The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Vidor (Vidor, TX). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Vidor routed Buna (Buna, TX), 50-43, in a non-league game.
