Nevada High School Basketball - Basic can't hold off Cheyenne

The Cheyenne Desert Shields basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Basic Wolves to 68 in the Desert Shields non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Desert Shields now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mojave for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29. Cheyenne will battle a Rattlers team coming off a 95-73 non-league win over Canyon Springs (North Las Vegas, NV). The Rattlers record now stands at 1-0.

The Wolves (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
