The Columbus Academy Vikings basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Marion-Franklin Red Devils to 41 in the Vikings non-league victory on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitehall-Yearling for a Mid-State - Ohio contest on Tuesday, November 29. Columbus Academy will battle a Rams team coming off a 60-58 non-league loss to Centennial (Columbus, OH). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.

The Red Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Heath (Heath, OH). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
