The Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), 77-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Prospect was trounced by Evanston (Evanston, IL), 59-46, in a non-league test.
The Grenadiers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Leyden for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 29. Elk Grove will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 67-32 non-league win over Mather (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
