Texas High School Basketball - The Woodlands topped by Johnson

The Johnson Jaguars basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host The Woodlands Highlanders to 54 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Jaguars now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hays for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29. Johnson will battle a Hawks team coming off a 75-21 non-league loss to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 5-4.

The Highlanders (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX). The War Eagles come into the 6A Region II District 13 contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Oak Ridge was defeated by Bryan (Bryan, TX), 69-62, in a non-league contest.
