The Metro Academy Mavericks basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Rogers Mountaineers to 50 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Saturday.

The Mavericks now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christ Prep Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, November 28. Metro Academy will battle a Patriots team coming off a 52-43 non-league win over Faith Christian Academy (Kansas City, MO). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.

The Mountaineers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Van Buren (Van Buren, AR). The Pointers come into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record.
