Mississippi High School Basketball - St. Andrew's Episcopal nips Murrah

St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints (Ridgeland, MS) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Murrah Mustangs (Jackson, MS), 60-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Andrew's Episcopal upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Yazoo City (Yazoo City, MS) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Yazoo City won 42-36 in their recent non-league bout against Provine (Jackson, MS)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Brookhaven Panthers (Brookhaven, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Murrah will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 82-80 non-league win over Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS).
