The Nixon Mustangs basketball team (Laredo, TX), was toppled 71-56 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX)

The Chaparrals now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brennan for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 29. Westlake will confront a Bears team coming off a 78-69 non-league loss to Kimball (Dallas, TX). The Bears record now stands at 5-5.

The Mustangs (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. Augustine (Laredo, TX). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record.
