In Saturday's non-league outing, the Mt. Vernon Rams (Mt. Vernon, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Collinsville Kahoks (Collinsville, IL), by a count of 79-71.
The Rams (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Benton (Benton, IL). The Rangers go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Benton defeated Wesclin (Trenton, IL), 66-34, in a non-league outing.
