Georgia High School Basketball - Eastside can't hold off Ola

November 26, 2022: Covington, GA 30014

The Ola Mustangs basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Eastside Eagles to 50 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eagle's Landing for a AAAAA Region 2 contest on Tuesday, November 29. Ola will battle a Eagles team coming off a 69-43 non-league loss to Jackson (Atlanta, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.

The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Newton (Covington, GA). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Newton was nudged by Mount Pisgah Christian (Johns Creek, GA), 52-44, in a non-league contest.
