The Lions (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Cypress Lakes walloped Clear Falls (League City, TX), 58-34, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Willis for a 6A Region II District 13 test on Tuesday, November 29. New Caney will encounter a Wildkats squad coming off a 38-36 non-league loss to Splendora (Splendora, TX). The Wildkats record now stands at 0-8.
