Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Rock Bridge Bruins (Columbia, MO) and the visiting St. Joseph's Academy Angels (St. Louis, MO), saw Rock Bridge's basketball squad hold off St. Joseph's Academy by a tally of 46-40.

With the victory, Rock Bridge improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bruins host Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 2. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Angels play the Ursuline Academy Bears (St. Louis, MO) in a MWAA challenge, on Thursday, December 8. St. Joseph's Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
