Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL), 61-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oak Forest upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bengals travel to Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL) to play the Red Wolves in a bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Indians play the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Marengo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
