    • Ohio High School Basketball - Berkshire can't hold off West Geauga

    The West Geauga Wolverines basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Berkshire Badgers to 43 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Sunday.

    The Wolverines now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edgewood for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. West Geauga will battle a Warriors team coming off a 67-47 non-league win over Grand Valley (Orwell, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.

    The Badgers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Geneva (Geneva, OH). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Geneva nudged West Geauga (Chesterland, OH), 61-37, in a non-league contest.
