The Catholic Bears basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Lafayette Christian Academy Knights to 33 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to St. Augustine for a non-league game on Friday, November 29. Catholic will play a Purple Knights team coming off a 59-51 non-league win over Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Purple Knights record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Lafayette Christian Academy falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA) to play the Gators in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Gators go into the game with a record of 1-4. Beau Chene lost 65-54 in their recent non-league game against Brusly (Brusly, LA)
