The Smithfield-Selma Spartans basketball squad (Smithfield, NC), was crushed 69-19 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC)

With the victory, Cleveland advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Rams host Wakefield (Raleigh, NC) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 3. The Wolverines enter the battle with a record of 1-1. Wakefield won 76-52 in their recent non-league battle against Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC)

The Spartans now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harnett Central for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 4.
