In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting West Nodaway Rockets basketball team scored a close 45-43 triumph over the King City Wildkats.
The Rockets (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop LeBlond (St. Joseph, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Wildkats battle the Northeast Nodaway Blue Jays (Ravenwood, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 9. King City will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
