Texas High School Basketball - Montwood holds off Las Cruces

November 26, 2024: El Paso, TX 79936

The Montwood Rams basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Las Cruces Bulldawgs to 52 in the Rams non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rams now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to San Elizario for a non-league game on Saturday, November 30. Montwood will confront a Eagles team coming off a 53-13 non-league win over El Paso Leadership Academy East (El Paso, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Las Cruces falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldawgs travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 1-0.
