The Southland Academy Raiders basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Quitman County Hornets to 43 in the Raiders non-league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Southland Academy advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Raiders travel to Terrell Academy (Dawson, GA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 2-0. Terrell Academy won 55-47 in their recent non-league match against Fullington Academy (Pinehurst, GA)

The Hornets now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Early County for a A D2 Region 1 match on Tuesday, December 3.
