The Merrill Bluejays basketball team scored 82 points and limited the visiting Ashland Oredockers to 51 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bluejays now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Newman for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. Merrill will play a Fighting Cardinals team coming off a 65-15 league loss to Auburndale (Auburndale, WI). The Fighting Cardinals record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Ashland falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Oredockers travel to Cumberland (Cumberland, WI) to play the Beavers in a Heart O'North game on Tuesday, December 3. The Beavers go into the game with a record of 0-2. Cumberland lost 68-56 in their recent non-league game against Webster (Webster, WI)
