Illinois High School Basketball - Canton sneaks past Deer Creek-Mackinaw

The Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) basketball edged the visiting Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs (Mackinaw, IL), 46-42 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Little Giants now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Eureka for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 30. Canton will play a Hornets team coming off a 59-23 non-league win over Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Deer Creek-Mackinaw falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Olympia (Stanford, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 3. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-4.
