Texas High School Basketball - Vela routs Donna

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Vela Sabercats basketball team scored a big 88-29 triumph over the Donna Redskins.

The Sabercats (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pioneer (Mission, TX). The Diamondbacks go into the 5A Region IV District 31 contest with a 10-8 record.

In their next game, the Redskins battle the Mercedes Tigers (Mercedes, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Donna will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 8-8 record after their 21-18 non-league win over Sharyland (Mission, TX).
