The Minneapolis South Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Highland Park Scots to 23 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to South St. Paul for a AAA Section 3 game on Monday, December 2.

With the loss, Highland Park falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Scots travel to Humboldt (St. Paul, MN) to confront the Hawks in a non-league game on Wednesday, November 27. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 0-4. Humboldt lost 53-17 in their recent non-league game against Breck (Minneapolis, MN)
