Stephenson Jaguars (Stone Mountain, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA), 62-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Stephenson upgrades its record to 1-4 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Douglass (Atlanta, GA) to face the Astros in a AAA Region 5 match on Tuesday, December 3. The Astros enter the match with a record of 1-0.
The Gladiators now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gainesville for a AAAAA Region 7 match on Tuesday, December 3. Johns Creek will face a Red Elephants squad coming off a 60-24 non-league win over Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA). The Red Elephants record now stands at 4-0.
