The Karns Beavers basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions to 40 in the Beavers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Beavers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to West for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3.

With the loss, St. Pius X Catholic falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Golden lions host Tucker (Tucker, GA) to confront the Tigers in a AAAA Region 5 game on Tuesday, December 3. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 5-1. Tucker won 44-29 in their recent non-league game against Decatur (Decatur, GA)
