The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX) and the host Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX), observed Lubbock's basketball team edge Midland Legacy by a margin of 46-45.

The Westerners (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Tascosa (Amarillo, TX). The Rebels come into the 5A Region I District 3 challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Tascosa edged Caprock (Amarillo, TX), 67-11, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rebels battle the Seminole Indians (Seminole, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 3. Midland Legacy will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record.
