The Wapsie Valley Warriors basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host New Hampton Chickasaws to 52 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to AGWSR for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. Wapsie Valley will confront a Cougars team coming off a 64-56 league win over BCLUW (Conrad, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, New Hampton falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Chickasaws travel to Osage (Osage, IA) to confront the Green Devils in a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. The Green Devils go into the game with a record of 0-0.
