The Sanderson Spartans basketball team scored 35 points and limited the visiting Cary Imps to 22 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Apex for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. Sanderson will confront a Cougars team coming off a 28-27 non-league loss to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Cary falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Imps host Broughton (Raleigh, NC) to meet the Capitals in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 4. The Capitals enter the match with a record of 1-1.
