In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Millbrook Wildcats basketball team scored a close 30-28 triumph over the Corinth Holders Pirates.

The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC). The Crusaders go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.

In their next game, the Pirates meet the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, December 3. Corinth Holders will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Golden Falcons enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 25-23 non-league win over East Duplin (Beulaville, NC).
