In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles basketball team scored a close 60-55 triumph over the Buckhorn Bucks.

The Golden Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Lipscomb Academy got by Blackman (Murfreesboro, TN), 53-37, in a non-league match.

The Bucks now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to James Clemens for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2. Buckhorn will face a Jets squad coming off a 67-60 non-league win over North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA). The Jets record now stands at 3-2.
