The Elyria Pioneers were victorious over the visiting Whitmer Panthers basketball team by a tally of 66-52 in Wednesday's non-league game.

The Pioneers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cleveland Heights for a non-league game on Sunday, November 30. Elyria will confront a Tigers team coming off a 70-38 non-league win over Brush (Lyndhurst, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Whitmer falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Thursday, December 4. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 0-0.
